With 2015 being owned by Taylor after her Autumn 2014 release of 1989, do you think Gaga could release her debut single off of LG5 sometime this October/November and go on to slay with an album release just after AHS is over in February?

I think this is the best timing because Taylor's 1989 reign will have wrapped up by this fall, allowing a new girl to take the reign. I also doubt Adele, Katy, Miley, or Ariana will bring any competition considering most of their albums have either just started or don't have producers yet. The Cheek to Cheek Tour will be done and AHS will be done filming by the end of August, too.

Thoughts?

We still have more than half year away till the end of 2015, i'd say Taylor owned the late 2014 and early 2015 partially as the early of 2015 have so many happenings among other artists especially Gaga.

I'd say 1989 is about the end of it, an era usually doesnt last more than 8/9months.

Taylor was successful before 1989, Gaga can have multiple successful eras.

This. I don't know why people are so convinced she can't top herself. She's very talented and creative. All she needs is to have a cohesively themed era, great music, and constant promotion. With great management behind her she can easily top herself. I personally think the best is yet to come.

Promotion is key though in terms of having a "big" era. Lots of crappy artists use great promotional tools to keep themselves out there (and everywhere) and are able to convince people that their stuff is better than it really is because "everyone" wants/owns it (while many talented indie artists with better songs get nowhere). It's sad that there are so many sheep out there that only buy/care about something because they think it's so popular rather than liking it for it's own merits (or actually having a personality), but it is what it is. Luckily Gaga makes great music and has actual talent, so if she played the system right she will be big, especially coming off a successful album (C2C), winning a Grammy, her stellar Oscar performance, and as a lead actress on a very popular television show. There will already be some good buzz going for her, she just needs to utilize it and expand it successfully.

As for the music, which is the most important thing, she seems to be in a more confident and relaxed place, so hopefully she's really inspired for the next era. I hope she has everything worked out and planned ahead. I really want to see what she can do artistically.

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
