Enhsa 2,043
The ladies of Little Mix are explaining why they gave away their song “Pretty Girls,” which eventually went to Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea. The song was written by the girls for their upcoming album, but they scrapped it. “We’ve been away a while because we wrote an album, sat with the record label and we thought, ‘Nope, it’s not good enough’,” group member Jesy Nelson in an interview with The Sun. “We recorded a whole album but we’re perfectionists and knew we could do better. So we scrapped it and started again.” “We wrote it with Maegan Cottone, who we’ve written a lot of this album with,” Jade Thirlwall added. “We loved the song but it wasn’t really for us so we put it out there and, lo and behold, Britney wanted it.” http://www.justjared.com/2015/05/26/little-mix-on-giving-pretty-girls-to-britney-spears-we-knew-we-could-do-better/

Pitch 204
They said they could do better about the original album not PG, they said PG wasn't really for them which I agree with considering their imagethe title is misleading, people are gonna drag the girls without even reading the op LADY GAGA/madonna/katy perry/little mix/ariana grande/selena gomez/britney spears/taylor swift

Creyk 17,821
britney spears getting little mix rejects... what has happened to pop music as you fall from grace they stop servicing you the best songs to decide if you want to sing over them that is why it's good if you actually have songwriting talent, you are not dependent on the pecking order (Gaga, Taylor, Lana, Katy, Meghan)

Sugarfall 3,723
Who was BOMT written for originally? Backstreet Boys, they rejected it. Then they tried TLC and they turned it down too but then Britney made it into the biggest hit of 1999

Tropico 4,145
If I was a singer, I know I'd never take leftovers tbh. I find it very admirable that Little Mix had more self worth for themselves than to put out an album they didn't find to be perfect. ♢ Social Justice Enthusiast ♢
