Einer berichtete, er sei verheiratet und masturbiere noch immer, auch während der Umrah, der "kleinen" Pilgerfahrt nach Mekka. Der zuerst etwas perplexe Han antwortete, der Islam verbiete Masturbation als "haram".Außerdem verwies der TV-Imam auf eine "Hadith" (Überlieferung von Aussagen des Propheten Mohammed), in der es heiße, wer s-xuellen Verkehr mit seinen Händen habe, werde diese im Jenseits schwanger vorfinden. Sie würden gegenüber Gott ihre Rechte einfordern. Er könne dem Zuseher nur raten, den Versuchungen des Satans zu widerstehen.Die Behauptungen Hans lösten heftige Reaktionen in den sozialen Medien der Türkei aus. Dort hieß es unter anderem, dass der Koran zum Thema Masturbation keine klare Aussage treffe. Nur eine begrenzte Zahl von Islam-Gelehrten würden die arabisch "Istimna" genannte Selbstbefriedigung als "haram" (verboten) einstufen, die meisten würden von "makruh" (unerwünscht) sprechen. Zudem sei die Authentizität vieler Hadithe fragwürdig. Einige Islam-Gelehrte gehen laut "Hürriyet" sogar soweit, Masturbation zu empfehlen, wenn man dadurch außereheliche Affären vermeiden könne.Zahlreiche Twitter-User machten sich über Han lustig. "Gibt es Hand-Gynäkologen im Paradies? Ist dort Abtreibung erlaubt?", meinte einer.
