antpats2 4,210 Posted May 27, 2015 Share Posted May 27, 2015 Overproduced, emotional, uniqueย ย i only say overproduced because we've heard the MJH and Aura demos, and even a bit of the ARTPOP demo from her car, as well as the swinefest versions of the songs and a huge majority of people including myself really like those earlier versions more than the final ones. YES, i LOVE the album but still. I feel like they worked a little too much on the songs to make sure they were all done properly and 100% polished, but even sometimes little things like the vocals sound weird. I feel like they're almost too clear sounding, and that she re-recorded them all together at the same microphone to make sure they were all the same quality etc (yes, she was going to re-record all the songs in early 2013 but im not sure if she wentย ahead with that after the hip surgery.
