Question regarding photos/videos at the Royal Albert Hall

Okay so I received my tickets today for Gags and Tone Banard at the RAH, I cannot wait. I have never ever seen Gags before live (been a fan since Just Dance) and I'm like 12 rows from the front, I feel really lucky and figure this will probably be the only time I'll get this opportunity (as it's obviously differently structured compared to her own tours).

Anyway on the front of the tickets it says photography and video recording is forbidden, so I thought well I can understand people using big cameras and tripods etc but what about the beloved old iPhone? or phone in general?

I had a look on youtube and lots of folk recorded Emeli Sande and Adele when they played the royal albert hall.

How can I miss out on getting at least one sneaky pics of the queen right before me?

I think if you take the picture discreetly you should be fine.  Just don't be the first to do it.  Wait to see if everyone around you is recording or taking pics.  If they are, then go ahead and do it as well but be discreet about it so you don't get caught.

I don't care what you think about unless it is about me.

Every single ticket for a concert will say 'photography and video recording is forbidden', but they won't care if you record little bits using your iphone etc. I think they're just trying to stop people recording the whole thing with professional equipment.

...and annoyed the sh1t out of the people behind them.

I think taking a picture once or twice during a gig is fine, but recording whole songs throughout the show makes you a selfish cvnt IMO.

Not that you're suggesting doing that, I know... I'm going to the RAH and will try to sneak a couple of pics. I think it will be fine to do that...

I think this is written on pretty much every concert ticket in the UK idk if it's the same for everywhere else. I used a camera in the RAH and it was fine they just don't like professional photos and filming which is understandable :) Enjoy!

Obviously I plan to take a whole TV company with me to record the whole thing in HD
