I don't think Gaga particularly cares about Katy's records and lets the quality of the music speak for itself.

But high quality music should do well, no?

For example Paparazzi and LoveGame, they have amazing lyrics and they also did very well commercially

Fiona Apple

No she can't lol. I will be very happy even with 1 #1 on the next album. Katy's album was full of generic bops .That's why she had #1s

Billboard called MANiCURE Pokerface 2.0

Venus could've pulled a BR

GUY had a magnificient video

some controversy and yes, she definitely would've gotten multiole #1s instead of a #4,#13 and a #76

I cannot take Billboard seriously tbh.

However, Venus could have been another Bad Romance if it had been fixed up just a touch. G.U.Y did have a great music video, but it weren't radio material.

In my messy era.

Oh and I definitely think Gaga should go all out next era but not to break records, just to fulfill each era to its highest potential :woohoo: Like I think every era should have all of the stops pulled out, that'd be amazing :woot:

I do not even think she will ever get another #1 to be honest.

Lol you guys really underestimate her power just because she had an underperforming era that still did well :awkney:

When are Gaga's songs radio friendly

When Just Dance and Pokerface were smashing there was literally RnB everywhere

I was talking about Katy Perry tho. You don't need to be basic to make a lot of #1s. But Katy is. :p

Commercial success doesn't necessarily depend on the quality of the song. Reminder that Harlem Shake went to #1. :emma:
Also by today's standards a #6 peak would be considered a flop :emma:
The things that matter the most are exposure (promo/hype whatever), a catchy hook, a pretty face and no negative backlash.

:laughga: actually redone is far more experimental than we think :) i think the next gaga+redone collab will be nothing like you all think.

Remember that you are unique. Like everyone else.
