It's also good that it's concrete evidence that the majority of the population of Ireland support same s-x marriage. *The UK's equality minister voted no for same s-x marriage on the grounds that the people in her constituency overwhelmingly opposed it. Plus, it's not just this that Ireland passed by referendum, all changes to the Irish constitution are - divorce in 1995 and lowering the age for running for president today as well as the marriage amendment; similar to how Switzerland has referendum often. If people voted back in the day for slavery it would not have ended when it did. But I guess Irelands constitution can only be changed by referendum....oh well its a great day for them regardless. I think voting is for things that affect every citicien (which is fun because those are normaly not voted lol).but something that affects a group of people? What the hell has the rest of the world to say about me being able to get married? It is a right that they have, and I want it for me. Can they decide if I can or not? I don't know if I am explaining myself. I don't give a **** about someone complaining if it is just applied, that's their problem. Lol. I know rights shouldn't be decided this way but the best part it's that people from a very catholic country legalised same s-x marriage.
