Whispering 18,865
Yes, I loved it! I would be perfectly fine with another jazz album, tbh!
Haroon 49,685
I'm indifferent to it for my own sake For Gaga's sake I'm happy it happened because it seems to make her happy

Bette Davis 12,742
Yes, I've always looooved jazz and was thrilled when I heard she was making a jazz album. Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, and Ella Fitzgerald are a few of my favorite musicians. I think jazz suits her voice so well, it helped improve the GP's perception of her, got her a Grammy, broadened her audience, and proved that she is legitimately talented (to those who didn't know already). Honestly after the damage ARTPOP did to her image C2C was the best thing she could've done. When I was buying C2C I literally had to fight off an old lady for the last copy of the deluxe edition.. I would have never thought I'd say that about a Gaga album Cold as ice cream, but still as sweet.
dynamite 58,017
Not really. I haven't been following this era, I'm just not into jazz. Her voice sounds great on the songs but that's all I'll say. She seems to be in a better place when making this type of music so it is a good thing that she did it. Like a poem said by a neydy in red
ARTPOPisaChoice 946
Yeah, because she's happy and it was a great album. Besides, if Cheek to Cheek hadn't happened we would be approaching eighteen months without any new official studio recordings of Gaga singing Hands up to the sky 🌧 I’ll be your galaxy 🌌
kevinthesheep 2,947
it's the best thing that happened to her YES
sarahb 16,597
Well I'm not a fan of jazz but I don't think anything truly bad happened as a result of it, if anything there was a ton of upsides that will benefit her future eras/her personally I mean, she wanted to quit music. Plus if it never happened I wouldn't have gotten Gaga's signature Do you feel him sir?
Anderson123 38,124
Yes, because it's something she really wanted to record for quite some time now and it was one of her dreams come true. I'm actually happy that she finally recorded it and I enjoy the music, but I don't listen to it that much, I'd rather listen to some of the songs with other voices like Ev'ry time we say goodbye, etc. but she sounds good on it.It also came during a time where Gaga needed a break from everything and just focus on MUSIC, not just pop music, but her passion for music and singing. Thomas P 18,479
I didn't care all that much, and I was excited she won the grammy so I guess I was a little excited I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.
HausAlly 799
yes absolutely, Gaga got to make an album with a music legend and in the process she became more respected and understood amongst the GP and we got a grammy wining record with amazing songs, they only thing that would have made this era perfect was if Paradise was on the record also "Lush Life" is my favourite song, it makes me cry every time
