​I'm saying that this mess wouldn't even be news or discussed on GGD.

Remember when Katy wore a green wig? Or when Iggy rapped in gibberish or when she tweeted racist stuff? Both recieved similiar backlash.

 

Racism towards black people is very much alive, even on here, but this thread has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with her skin color or origin. She was being mean to a fan who asked for an alternative link. Now if they had beef between them or that fan is making this whole story up is a different story, but I can assure you that if Katy or Madonna (or any other white female popstar) would have blocked that fan we would have the same reaction.

 

Certain GagaDaily users do have their racist and intolerant moments, but this is not one of them.

If the fan was harassing her then I could understand her blocking him, but if not then this is a wasted opportunity for her to self promote. Maybe the fan can't afford Tidal, no shame in that, but maybe Nicki could have used the opportunity to explain why she preferred to use Tidal over Vevo. For the record, I think Tidal sounds like a bit of a scam, but if she is a Tidal artist then there is obviously something about it she likes. It would then benefit her to promote Tidal, in which case this would then become a good opportunity to do just that. She could explain all the reasons her fans should consider paying for a subscription. She could then thank her fan for their support and maybe even offer (one time)  to pay for this fan to use the subscription for a month. Heck, She could hold a contest and offer the same deal to ten fans, thus getting promotion for herself, her video, and the service she loves, and the amount it would cost her would be less than pennies. If the fans praise the service, bonus.

​That fan has been really rude to Nicki and deleted all of their tweets that initially resulted into Nicki blocking them and now plays victim because the big old meanie blocked their ass.
Also they repeatedl points out how much money they spend for Nicki merch (VIP concert tickets etc.) but how they are too poor to spend 10 bucks a month for a Flopdal subscription.
