Supersonic 49,376
Her lyrics are fine. Easy to comprehend with complex metaphors, grammar and vocabulary at times. She doesn't need to write silly love songs so the general public is able to relate to her and teenagers make kitschy Windows Movie Maker collages to her songs with dolphins and Comic Sans text. Sorry, but that sounds lame and so beneath Gagas writing skills Lose control. Let go and fall. Do you get the satisfaction?

She is Gaga! And her way to express herself is okay for me or let me say: I love it!Gaga isn't here to please everyone with her lyrics.

Whispering 18,865
Again...do a little research about twenty one pilots. That's the kind of lyrics I want. Fall out boy, panic at the disco, my chemical romance, Elton john... Then go listen to them. Nothing is stopping you. Gaga isn't going to be the exact kind of artist you personally want her to be. She's going to follow her creative vision, not yours.
Morphine Prince 106,210
Umm, no. She should write what she wants how she wants. The thing I love about Gaga IS that sometimes her lyrics are a bit deeper and we can search for new meanings. But really it's still pop music. It's not THAT complex. Would you call those basic? I'm not talking about changing the way she writes forever. Just for one album. Yeah maybe the way she looks changes but does her writing really change? She should shake it up a little bit. Look at panic. Each of their albums literally are a different genre. Literally. A. Different. Genre.

Curunir 7,510
i don't think anyone here fell in love with gaga's lyrics. it's her voice and the amazing production she always delivers. BUT that doesn't mean her lyrics aren't good, on the contrary they're quite interesting and compelling most of the time and that only adds to her whole artistry. don't fix something if it ain't broken
