Have you seen Swinefest, by any chance? artRave? Cheek to Cheek: Live? Yeah, she is still as captivating and fierce a stage performer as ever, perhaps even more so now with improved vocals. Her off-stage attitude has softened a bit because, well, she has matured and gained a shot of humility.

The "world" loved her because not only was the music radio-friendly and catchy, but because the image was palatable. As we went into Born This Way, portions of her fanbase and the GP left for the best possible reason: she committed to her vision 100%, and didn't compromise who she really was for the sake of a larger audience.

Also...

as far as I can tell, this has remained the case, I'd argue even more fearless than before.

AGREE.

honestly i feel her confident attitude was such a facade in her early stages, because her music and image never really backed up the level of snootiness that she gave off. i feel that bad ass idgaf attitude most with born this way, and even during swine fest, when she was performing swine and talking about its meaning.

being vulnerable doesnt have to mean lack of confidence, of anything it takes a stronger willed person to be vulnerable.

Nah. F*ck the world. I really could care less about what the world loved or hated, as long as Gaga's good and happy she'll get by.

VOLANTIS

You expect her to Rub blood on her Body and bath in Meat on stage with Tony singing "I cant give you anything but Love" ??

Do you want her burnt at the GP Stake again??

Did you not want her to have her Oscar moment?

Do you want her to be dragged to filth on every Media?

Do you hate her that much?

I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half

VOLANTIS

She will have her outrageous moments when she's releasing outrageous music.

She's being humble out of respect to the Jazz Gods she's covering on C2C including Tony.

Just sit down and wait like the rest of us please

I think ''the world'' loved her catchy (RedOne-produced) dance pop songs. The fans have always been interested in her persona but the GP probably just enjoys the music

The irony of this thread is pretty funny. You're claiming gaga's "i dont give a ****" attitude is gone, yet the pop star that sold tens of millions of records and made a name for herself with pop music released a JAZZ RECORD that ended up going platinum and winning a grammy.

If that isn't "I don't give a ****" then I don't know what is.

Her attitude never left, she loves being in control and yes the ARTPOP era was messy (she fired her manager just as it was starting for goodness sake, the organization was all over the place and it showed) but she knows what's up. She's using RedOne, Moroder, Diane Warren, Nile Rodgers... she's no dummy.

Read the other comments. The Fame attitude is not replaceable. We haven't seen it in a while already. I'm talking about on stage attitude you're talking about off-stage attitude. How hard is it to understand my thread?

She was amazing in 2009. She's amazing now in a different way, and she'll continue to change for years to come.

I'm hoping to see the attitude again but with different kind of music for the next one. It's going to be a great combination.

if she didnt change a bit she would be boring :neyde:

Her music and fashion can change however they want but she could still keep the badass attitude if she wanted to.

I'm not saying that she had to remain everything the same, of course that wasn't what I meant.

I'm tired of people like you not getting my point. Go read the comments on page 3. Especially the ones posted by Alien Tulip.
