Ronk 14,762
I just want Gaga to make the music she wants to make, regardless if it's a hit or not.I want her to write from the heart, with an open mind not caring about what anyone thinks, not even her fans. MTE I live outside the space time continuum.
Riot Poof 2,236
People have other obligations and interests. Being a Little Monster isn't supposed to be a full-time job. I'm not a woman. I'm not a man. I am something that you'll never understand.
Bradley 59,023
No, little monsters have always been like this, they have always been loyal and dedicated. The only reason why Born This Way and The Fame Monster eras slayed harder was because the GP was also included in our community. Maybe she should really take the GP into account for her next era. Didymus 34,379
I've been a fan from the beginning and I never saw it as my job to let her win awards and get her to the top of the charts. I only care about her artistry.
Nicole 1,809
It's not that I've stopped enjoying her music or stopped supporting her/buying her music, I've just got other things to do? Just because she isn't meeting her fans expectations of reaching #1 all the time doesn't constitute as her fans being lazy nor does it constitute her or her team being lazy. When I first started loving Gaga I was 11. I was just starting to use the internet etc so obviously was very active online - I would frantically vote for Gaga in every possible poll, watch her music videos at every moment possible, I would do anything to show my favourite artist some support. Now? I'm 18. I'm at university. I spent my entire teenage years dedicated to Gaga and supporting her in every way possible but now it's time for me to stop worrying about that and start working on my own life - achieve my own goals. And to be honest, I think there are a lot of fans that need to adopt that mindset also. I'm not implying that I love Gaga any less than I did all those years ago. I still love her tremendously, maybe even more than when I was 11. I'm just finding more value in her work as an artist and her as a person than any award can bring. And obviously I can't speak for Gaga, but I'd much rather that type of value against my name if I were an artist.
User 352
Gaga must simply evolve as an artist, she did already, but people wait for some really new kind of music from her, something they never heard from her like from example her voice on the Oscars performance - that's the key. When she will create something she never did before, then people will be interested in her again.Fans alone are not enough to make a smash hit or carrie an iconic performance. But in generally, all popstars make the same in the past years, no one evolve. They behave all like Twitter messes and seem so manufactured, Katy, Britney, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Miley ( Taylor is only in US a phenomenon ) The interest disappears because they do not touch people as real artists and to buy their music only because of the brand became embarassing, which i can understand. Female pop singers are in the moment only accessoire and not more.

monketsharona 80,605
Just to say that fans are not the ones who put albums from any artists on the top of charts (for a long time) that's definitely the GP. If a new album is not promoted in a good way to appeal the GP, fans can buy the album and support it, it won't be enough to make it a great selling album...Taylor's new album, 21 or TF/TFM were albums that appealed the GP that's why they were so successful. Kayla 7,595
If we include participating in fan projects I would absolutely agree that fans have gotten lazier.

OpusDiaboli666 199
She's not making me eager to promote her or do sth with all her farm/chicken/strawberry pics tbh. Seems like she likes not being in the spotlight right now..still making gifts for her but that's not sth that would change anything lol.
ARTPOPchamp 292
People keep talking about General Public... As fans, are we not the General Public? Or at least, were we not the General Public at one point, but then we became fans? I think there is too much separation between fans and the general public, Monsters act like we're part of some exclusive club, above the General Public, all of us are actually the public, Gaga is the artist, as the public we have the choice of liking Gaga or not, if we buy the albums and support Gaga, that's how she will be successful. Gaga has always said "I wouldn't be here without the fans", "I owe everything I have to the fans". Other performers always thank the fans, they don't stand there like "I want to the thank the genera public for supporting me." In short, my point is, to those who put so much emphasis on chart position and how many albums Gaga sells, stop b*tching and moaning if she isn't, and do something about it, actually go out and buy the album or download it from itunes don't illegally take her music from filesharing sites. Actually support Gaga, don't rely on everyone else to elevate her. As a Monster, after what Gaga has done for so many of us, I personally feel indebted to her and support her no matter what.
