​I went to her Velvet Rope Tour in Chicago in October of 1998 and it was simply amazing!  She brought the house down.    :legend:

​I saw the show in Atlantic City that same month in 1998. I remember the conversations amongst the crowd rising in volume when Whitney Houston was being escorted to her seat in the audience. Usher was the opening act. Back then his big showstopping moment was to drop his pants to reveal his boxer briefs. :toofunny:  Anyway, it truly was a night to remember. Janet really commanded the stage, and when we left people were chanting and singing while walking to their cars.

I was one :hehe:  I would've loved to see that show. I have a family friend who went that still talks about how great it was to this date... Safe to say I'll be at this upcoming tour!

​Yay!!  Then you'll be able to say you've been to a Janet Jackson concert.  So if you were one back in 98, you must be 17 or 18?  It's nice to see that you're so young yet you've been exposed to great music at such a young age.   :party:

I'm so happy as a child I was exposed to all the greats - this generation really doesn't look at Janet, but thanks to my mom she and MTV Hits exposed me to her greatness. One of the best of all time, it's going to be great to experience her live :giveup:

I'm prepared to be blown away. I've watched a lot of her performances and it's always been a goal of mine to see her, so I'm glad it can come true. I have to experience Janet from the front too :giveup:
