Hellspont 1,468
I just had a Sexxx Dream last night, let me listen to this song again because its perfection
erfaan 2,830
The album version is definitely one of my fav songs but I agree this version is so nice and raw. I think the one on the album is a lot more 'polished' sounding though to reflect more of actual intentions of the song.

Guest
I used to think people were just being critical of her when they said they liked the Swine Fest version better, but wow...that's the first time I've heard it in over a year, and that should've been the studio version...it's so perfect. Still like the album version, but damn...
XoXoJoanneGaga 629
Yea that version is obviously much better. She was trying very hard to please everyone with this record. Please the label, please her fans, keep everything radio friendly, and that led to some songs being tragically dumbed down like this one.

Blue Jeans 3,815
I really don't think the song is meant to be taken seriously. For me, the song has always had a comedic bent to it, it is the audio incarnation of a drunk phone call. There's a reason why the vocals, the production, etc., have a rompish, overheated feel to them, not to mention the whole "I can't believe I'm telling you this" bit. It's a funnier song than it's given credit for.In my opinion, the people who wanted more raw and s-xier vocals are kind of missing the point. Hidden ContentI don't think its meant to be a funny song, there's definitely a humour to it, but its more quirky than "funny" its that kind of i'm s-xy and i'm flirtting with you and i'm just being a bit of slut, but its okay cause i'm s-xy.. and the song would benefit from the raunchy vocals, it would be elevated to another level, and make the song just dirty and fun to listen to it, kinda like government hooker Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen

Perhaps cheeky. Either way, I think the lighter and more playful vocals on the album work in favor of the song's mood than the deeper, more seductive ones from Swinefest. I honestly wouldn't change one thing about it.
Head Empty 25,196
The ambient sound of these rehearsal video's make every song so much better. The synths/breakdown in Swine also sound a hundred times better (and that's coming from someone who loves the studio version as well). Happiness will never last, darkness comes to kick your ass... ᵃˢˢ 🕺

gagaohlala 810
Ultimate betrayal for me. Sex Dreams was hundred times better than Sexxx Dreams. The Swinefest synth used on the chorus my god thay were so s-xy, and those pad during ''hear your boyfriend'' Perfect. Instead we got that overproduced not so s-xy song on ARTPOP... Please someone make a full Itunes fest rehearsale studio version ! Little Monster | Diamond | Cry Baby | Lana Del Rey
Bradley 59,157
The studio version is just fine. I don't get what you're saying. I mean the live is also interesting but the studio isn't that bad to the extent that you can't listen to it
