With the release of the Gagavisions + instrumental demo snippets, I was properly slayed when I heard Born This Way for the first time. I agree. Slayed from beginning to end, and still to this day!I wasn't a full on stan until Telephone was released and I heard the album bit by bit so it didn't have as much impact as it should have. I would say ARTPOP if she hadn't released so many snippets and songs before the release. It's the opposite for me.MTN, Electric Chapel, Americano, Shciesse, Government Hooker, Heavy Metal Lover all sounded way different than what I imagined from those instrumentals/remixes/live performances, which put me off for a long time. Swinefest was somewhat similar except much less jarring because we knew for the most part what the finished product sounded like. And Swinefest itself was so good that it made up for it.But both of those experiences have made me hate all the teasers and hints. jsn 1,648 Posted May 13, 2015 Share Posted May 13, 2015 Born This Way I remember downloading the album a few days before the release since someone put it up early, and I first listened to it in the car with my family and when a new song would come on I'd tell them "oh listen to this one!! look at what she did!" lol I can't say ARTPOP because I heard all the tracks on different days spread apart and it made it so much less exciting gags please never release half the album before the rest again Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

On the other hand the transition from TF(M) to BTW was the hardest ever, I had to force feed it down my throat. But by the time I lived with the album it became my favorite.
