Katy Perry praises Kardashians, says we would not have Bruce w/o them

Katy Perry has offered her explanation of why the Kardashians are, as she puts it, "valid." And it involves Bruce Jenner.

(At this time, Bruce has not chosen to publicly identify as a woman and so E! News will continue to refer to him as Bruce and use male pronouns, until he indicates otherwise.)

"I'm her biggest fan," she said. "Listen, Kris Jenner is very important to me and that is not sarcastic at all," Perry continued. "She has a great sense of humor and she's kinda like the mother of everyone."

"And, actually, you know, I was thinking the other day, is like, we've all had our own commentary on the Kardashians [makes air quotes], but if the Kardashians hadn't existed, there wouldn't have been the fantastic Bruce Jenner, who is just evolving everybody right now with all of his wonderfulness," she told the outlet. "So, the Kardashians in my book, are completely valid."
