If ARTPOP went as it seemed to be originally planned..?

Now first of all, I'm not sure if this was the original plan for ARTPOP. But I thought it was original supposed to be released early 2013, or like March or so. + The songs were a bit different originally and she scrapped a lot? (Feel free to correct me if I am wrong)

If the album tracklist was somewhat like this:
1. Brooklyn Nights
2. Tea
3. Stache
4. Princess Die
5. Do What U Want
6. Tinnitus
7. Partynauseous
8. Onion Girl
9. In Like With You
10. Applause
11. I Wanna Be With You
12. Temple
13. Cake Like Lady Gaga
14. Gypsy
15. Ratchet
16. Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe

Singles:                     /  (where i think they'd peak)  /
1. Brooklyn Nights        #1
2. Stache                     #6
3. Do What U Want      #3
4. Princess Die           #20
5. Applause                 #5

+ a different album cover and singles clovers. I wish she would have kept the look from 2012, with the pretty makeup and all. + The original theme as it kinda seemed, that photo that she had as her twitter icon, some painting or drawing, would've slayed as an album cover or something. I think she should have done single covers that were like a painting or drawing, if she kept this idea. Again I am not sure if that is like what she originally had planned but it seems like it, something like that!

Discuss please about this, it really interests me, since we obviously can't go back but can think about what could have been done instead too.

It's pretty much pointless discussing things that didn't happen. We don't know nearly enough about what ARTPOP would've been like if it was released earlier, and it really doesn't matter

It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.

Stache #6? :awkney:

So do you mean that as in it should be higher or it should be lower? I've heard the demo or whatever as most have, I LOVE it. Also Princess Die>>>>>> but it would flop.

True. It's just kinda cool though, imagining if that was the era right there, since we have some of those songs or at least parts of them. Tbh if those were the songs then her albums would be BTW = TFM = ARTPOP > TF, for me.

This could have been an interesting subject to discuss, but then the OP started inventing tracklists and chart positions, so I don't really know what to say anymore..... :awkney:

I like that song but I wouldn't expect it to chart all that high. Too experimental.

Well, let's say, if the lead was released in feb 2013 (Brooklyn Nights), this would be in the scenario that she did not break her hip, it would have done well probably, strong sales then and before "Harlem Shake" and the whole 911 pop emergency mess so the era could have gotten off on a good start and a successful start probably too, because that is a good song and fairly radio friendly. Then Stache as the second single in early april/end of march before album, so it would debut top 10 probably based on hype or whatever. Then album in April/May, better schedule too tbh.

Even if he had said that he wouldn't have been wrong, my OPs are kinda messy. Gotta figure them out.:lana:

Guys, let's be honest! ARTPOP would have done well with a little more promo, a video for the 2nd single and a 3rd/4th single with no blackouts.  it charted as prism or bangerz on its 1st week, but it had no stability on the charts because it was left at its destiny. We all know that. But these were the numbers back in the days... Now they are even more little! Bookmark me , ARTPOP would have debuted with more or less 200k copies now, and it would have been a huge success

^ARTPOP had a lot of promo tho until the end of DWUW era. The video would have helped DWUW to become a viral hit, not sure if it would have a positive effect to the album.
