I have no idea. we have no idea when it will be released or what she's going to do with it at all. It'd be just a wild guess at this point. But it's not like it's a given she'll go #1 or be successful like in 2011. She'll have to work for it.

I think there will be another leak and her record company will have to scramble to get it in the top 5. With all the leaks that are happening now, record companies should have a contingency plan in case the worse happens. I do think it will sell at least 2 million in the US and over 5 million globally, but only charting top 5.

Either another basic flop single steals it's spot, but it'll definitely be Top 5 for sure...even Applause still peaked at #4

Gaga broke many boundaries, if she comes out with the next big thing and the positive build up continues then why not, she can if she wants to but she doesn't care so that's why.

Behind Gags lies a record label.

If she doesn't want deals with radios and **** like that, her record label would.

Even though they may be friends, business is business, money is money, success is success.

I agree with what others have said, it's not next to impossible to debut at #1. It's harder in a way then it used to be, but because of the streaming rule, if done well, it can still fairly easily happen.

If they wanted a number on debut, all they'd have to do was do at least one major performance on the day of/ day after release plus release the video the same day. I mean of course with other promo spots

Definitely Top 5, hopefully #1 or #2. As long as the album debuts at #1, that's what I care about.

Top 10, Top 5 if the song is really great, Top 3 if radio eats it up.

And just to make things clear, since the next album will be released in a long time obviously, the "C2C build up" will be dead as **** by then.

If she'll do a promo tour (interviews. Performances in different countries, award shows performances) like she did for Born This Way, then yes.

A #1 debut for a single is highly unlikely, unless it somehow and someway becomes associated with a viral video / internet meme during its first week like Harlem Shake.  A #1 peak, however, isn't that far-fetched as long as the material itself is strongly catchy, the timing of its release is well-planned, and is backed up with massive promotion in a span of a month or two.

Even if her commercial peak already occurred years ago, it isn't unusual for music acts to revisit the top of the Hot 100 chart years, if not decades, later (See: Cher, Britney Spears), so I wouldn't say it's impossible for her to score her 4th #1 hit on the Hot 100 with the next album or the succeeding ones. She's a brilliant songwriter anyway, and one of the most reliable hit-makers among all acts since iTunes kicked off the digital era of music consumption. Not to mention, she's among the very few who has topped the charts multiple times without the help of the #1 hit-making production team of Max Martin and Dr. Luke. That alone is an impressive feat, a feat she can pull again with a talent like her.

It will flop harder than G.U.Y. if she won't renew her illuminati membership

If she comes of with a killer song and good pr then yes. Personally I want an album that gets stronger and builds in success as time goes on.
