She's probably just annoyed at her at how basic she comes off as and doesn't really do anything original to make her stand out from just "ordinary pop star" status despite her huge success which was even bigger than Gaga's starting in 2013. Katy obviously bugs her and Gaga usually is classy enough not to publicly comment on people that get on her nerves or that she dislikes. Only when they push it too far or when Gaga may be in a more vulnerable state, maybe a bit drunk for example, she'll make a remark. And usually Haus members will too, but they're more upfront about it. I don't see why they need to be friends, they seem way too different. And aside from a few old comments, they seem to get along. people saying they were friends or close before need a reality check. They just met a view times and were nice to each other. Gaga is nice to everyone she meets but being close is something else. Not many celebrity friendships are real because they rarely see eachother and usually only hang out for the good times and are nowhere to be found when one needs true support. Celebs simply are too busy. Take Gaga and Beyonce, they never meet up for fun, it's much more mutual respect and appreciation then a friendship.
