While there are people taking this opportunity to do wrongful things, it should be noted that the majority of the violence also stems from the police shutting down the schools, shutting children off from their parents, shutting down public transportation and ordering national security right from the beginning before the violence even started. Also a lot of the media is misreporting about pictures from the scenerey that portray black people as violent looters, when matter of fact they are the ones breaking apart fights or trying to ease the situation.

While there are people taking this opportunity to do wrongful things, it should be noted that the majority of the violence also stems from the police shutting down the schools, shutting children off from their parents, shutting down public transportation and ordering national security right from the beginning before the violence even started. Also a lot of the media is misreporting about pictures from the scenerey that portray black people as violent looters, when matter of fact they are the ones breaking apart fights or trying to ease the situation.

These actions didn't happen until after the violence began. 

Today, the peacemakers are out in full force, and the media is giving that picture continuous attention.

Last night there were 144 vehicle fires, 19 structure fires, 15 officers wounded (6 seriously) and someone in critical condition due to a structure fire. They had to shut down the city, and put a curfew in place, as it was becoming an extremely destructive and dangerous situation for the citizens of Baltimore.

I don't really care if you feel empathy for the policemen or not...and for the record, I never asked you to. 

I was simply outlining the reasoning behind the curfew and the National Gaurd. When large crowds of people are out of control (like the ones late last night), it's important to get them under control to protect the citizens of that community.
