I love the woman and her choice of musical collabs are normally good, but some of the other people she's worked with...Terry Richardson - The photo book was great but we all know now what a creep he is and I don't think working with him sends the right message and I definitely don't want Gaga to be in a position of being abused by him.R Kelly - He's actually good on DWUW but out of all the people she could have collabed with, why did it have to be someone who's got one of the worst reputations in the industry? It means the love for this song is forever tainted. Collabing with Xtina made so much more sense as they had both gone through fat shaming by the media, which is partly what the song is all about. I feel like she just chose R Kelly (or was pressured to) in the hopes of getting success by courting controversy.David Guetta & will.i.am - Seriously, what was the purpose behind that Fashion! collab? It felt like her label had forced her to release a song with two of the most generic producers around just to annoy her fans as they were the last two producers we most wanted her to work with.And...*gets ready to dodge sharp objects about to be thrown at me*Beyonce - Not crazy about her as a soloist, not crazy about her as a feature. Granted, I'd much rather Gaga collabed with her than some of the lesser talented popstars, but still. Beyonce is an opportunist. She picks her collabs based solely on business and what it'll bring her, not on genuine friendship or artistic merit. She's done it her whole career - she does a collab with whoever's hot at the time to piggyback off their success and then drops them immediately afterwards. She did it with Sean Paul on Baby Boy, Shakira on Beautiful Liar, Gaga on Telephone and Video Phone and most recently, Nicki Minaj on remixes. If she weren't married to Jay, she would have totally abondoned him after their first collabs too. It always annoys me when I see a collab where one party clearly has an agenda. I also don't know if any of that is true and Gaga simply got tired of her a$s and fired her. LOLOh I see. The way some members are speaking about her now, I thought something went down. I don't get the Tara hate. You can judge her make-up skills, but what do you really know about her personally? You say fame *****, I see someone who was put a spotlight on by Gaga herself. To me it seemed more like Gaga was clinging to Tara and copying her I know right , to me it started when she changed ha hair color And Fusari Uh huh! To me, Tara Savelo seems to be a backstabbing C U Next Tuesday! So glad she's finally out of Gaga's life. , not the other way around. Tara definitely had a big influence on Gaga, taking things lightly having fun. but I also feel she re-ignited Gagas love for weed and hip-hop/trap and cutesy fur animals and other childish stuff, talking in a baby voice and everything. To me Tara seemed to be the pall Gaga needed in a lonely painful time in her life, a comic relief. She made her happy and for that I think she deserves more respect than she usually gets around here. Do I love her influence on Gaga? Not really, cause it didn't bring much artistically that I found inspiring. But shes a good friend and Gaga needed that. Oh and to answer questions posted above, Tara is very sick. She has Lupus and it can flare up anytime for long periods. It attacks the whole body in various ways and can leave a person practically bedridden for months, followed by a good period without flareups. It's gruelling on the body and on the mind, cause it's hard to keep up a good spirit when you can't do what you want or spent time with people you love cause your body won't let you. Seeing how Gagas aunt died of lupus when she was only a teenager, I understand even more how they grew so strong.
