Lance Bass on One Direction: ‘I Just See Harry Leaving Soon’

The hope among One Direction fans is that Zayn Malik‘s departure from the group would bring stability, that the four-piece incarnation would be adding by subtracting.

But according to Lance Bass, changes in One Direction might be just beginning.

“I just see Harry [Styles] leaving soon, and I don’t see another One Direction album happening after he leaves,” Bass said on the The Meredith Viera Show, The Wrap reports, saying that Styles has been recording on his own for a while and planned on leaving One Direction before Malik stole his thunder.

 

Bass commended Malik in the interview, saying that it was great for his career to leave 1D, making him a household name rather than just a nameless one of the five.

One Direction is currently at work on their fifth studio album, set for release by the end of the year. Styles has been in on the writing and recording so if he’s gearing up to depart, it may be next year.

Zayn was never a nameless one of the five anyway, or at least not from what I've seen/heard  The one I would've expected to leave first if at all was Liam actually, because I always thought he had the best and most distinct voice from the group

but if harry leaves whole band is done
