The magic of C2C

Just got out of Austin c2c show.  Amazing show.  Everyone around saying Gaga stole the show. Her voice was magic and when she's on stage she owns the crowd.  Very diverse crowd covering all demographics.

People saying that her "career is over " if she doesn't have pop hits have no idea of the real star power and appeal of this woman.  Dance music is probably a handicap at this point in terms of her wider appeal.

Gaga will have as long a career as she wants.  The X factor with her is a palpable energy.  She has IT.

YAAAAAAAI, she has a very strong stage presence  Did you take pictures of the show?

BTW I've always been a fan of your avi. :legend:

And what makes her great is that she's so versatile. She can belt out the classics just as well as she can craft a dance pop song. Plus she oozes confidence, talent, and authenticity, and I'm glad the world is finally recognizing that.

C2C is certainly magical. It inspired me to buy two concert tickets I can't afford to go see Gaga and Tony in Atlanta this summer.  :gaycat:

So true. :queenga:

Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

Agreed! If there's one thing I've observed among the greatest entertainers, it's always the showstoppers who can never be stopped from the things they do best, regardless of how hard the critics would like to tear them apart. Once one has genuine talent, it's hard to easily just bring that one down. And Gaga, whether she's singing her pop smash hits or goes jazz with well-loved classics, is definitely one incomparable talent who can never be stopped by anyone but herself.

Exactly.  And there is that elusive "IT" factor which is much rarer.  Gaga has magnetic charisma that draws people to her.  She owns audiences.  The biggest complaint about the C2C show is that Tony gets more stage time.  Tony has IT as well, but nobody owns a crowd like Gaga.

Still funny how many of her fans before thought C2C would end her career. :smh:

Gaga keeps winning. :worship:

0:35 "she's pregnant"

???

Always a bit intense to hear the explanation of Lüc (she's said this before, right?) and how it ties into her performances of the song. Must be intense not just for her, but also for Brian. I remember a particular performance (Las Vegas, month ago?) during this song, where they both got really into it.

edit: @4:00, same as the performance I mentioned, she did "til this day sometimes we cry". Hm.

Also wow at her going kind of micless near the end.

3 points in and ready for more
