LoveandMagic 1,731
I'm surprised at the number of Evangelical Christians. 28% is a big number for them. And Muslims are higher (42%). There's hope yet. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."

JazzGa 14,652
It feels weird that atheists/non-religious people are never included in these sorts of polls. They're a sizable chunk of the population, especially the younger generation. My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <
Guest
Can you all please stop saying white people this, white people that when Minorities have yet to accept Gays into their cultures as well, thank you. I knew Buddhists & Jewish people were down with the life like that, slay a bit, I remember I went to a friends haus & I ended up planting & setting up a fountain with the Buddhists who lived next door

ItsTommyBitch 12,640
White evangelicals, im impressed Almost 30% Wish this would include Atheists and Agnostics, so they could slay the Buddhists and Jews tbh Really though, slay @ catholics for being just more accepting versions of Christians (with differences ofc, don't come for me ) 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

LoveandMagic 1,731
It feels weird that atheists/non-religious people are never included in these sorts of polls. They're a sizable chunk of the population, especially the younger generation.Well, the only thing Atheists have in common is that they don't believe in a god/gods/higher power (if you are an Agnostic Atheist you are opened to the possibility of a higher power but concede that there has, so far, been no evidence for such). I have actually met some Atheists that are mysogynists and homophobic. Most that I have met however are very open minded and pro-gay marriage. But it's a very diverse group.Did you know that on average Athiests/Agnostica folks know more about Religion than Religious people & tend to overall be more accepting!I've also found this to be very true. The Atheist Experience talks about this topic a lot. http://www.atheist-experience.com/It's a great informative show on Atheism. I would recommend people to check them out if they are curious. They also welcome callers of all faiths. One of the most prominent members, Matt, was studying for the priesthood before he lost his faith, so he is very well versed on Christian religious doctrine. Also, one of the members, Jen, is a military veteran and lesbian with a wife and kid. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. I should really just relax."
