She said different times that she won't allow Crimea to get become Russian. Belgium is odd and has always been. They deserve their identity. The existence of Belgium is more of a statement than anything else. Merkel doesn't see things like you do. She's known Putin for a long time and both speak eachothers languages and often meet to dicuss important decisions. But Merkel is also sworn to the German people and Germany is an integral part of the EU. Germany's vice is export and it is not in their interest to have Russia take back big chunks of the territory/population of a potential EU member. She represents German people who are as well not in favor of Putin, so I don't that argument. Germanys power comes from export but Germany is also the country who wants sanctions on Russia. Disgusting.There's a lot of "disgusting" decisions he makes to please the majority of Russian population (he needs majority be it 51% right?) whose mentality seems to be out of touch with the times we live in. Russia has been ****ed with many times in the last 150 years which helped shape the "strange" nationalist psychology even if it has been adopted from previous generations. If the actual politicians in charge don't even have a solution for their own problems, then why am I expected to know one? Maybe your pride got in the way, but my post was really a response to Admin's (popular) logic of: if you criticize Europe's anti-Putin propaganda, you are defending Putin. Same as the typical Israel/Palestine rhetoric.My solution to that problem (being misunderstanding and people being too quick to judge because of some weird allegiances to political powers they can't ever hope to reach) is the growing awareness of a group that seeks a middle ground and is unhappy with the general picture instead of a detail. That might seem completely unimportant to you, but it is to me and I just took an opportunity to express it, just like you've been doing for three pages.
