Interestingly, all US states gay marriages are allowed? I do not think democracy* There is a difference. I'm not a huge fan of the US politics but it's way more gay friendlier than Russian gay politics. Also the general support of homos-xuality in the society is higher in the US than in Russia. When did an European country invade another country in the last years like Russia does with Crimea? lol such thing never happened, you know. and do you by any chance know any ethnic European history, because it suggests that Ukraine shouldn't even exist as a nation. their identity is cultural, not ethnic. and since culture and history of the Crimean peninsula is Russian, it should belong to Russia. the only reason it ever got in the Ukrainian borders is because it was attached to Ukrainian land, with 25% of the population in the oblast it is attached to also identifying as Russian which is just as much as the Ukrainians in Crimea. then there was a referendum and the people of Crimea chose Russia with 96% of the votes. the troops marched in and people celebrated. and while no Ukrainian was harmed during the process, hundreds of thousands of Russians had died defending the peninsula in the last 300 years.damn russian conquerors Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Same goes for Ukraine. They are Russian, the original Russian state actually, but culturally different than the rest of modern day Russia after 500 hundred years of foreign influence. The Alans, Bulgars and Poles had greatly diversified the Kievan Russians ethnically as well and that is how the Ukrainian identity came to be. Crimea is not part of the deal.
