Germany to stop Russian propaganda in Eastern Europe

What does security to do with invading other countries?

Apparently that's why Israel justifies its settlements :usrs:

-

OT: hopefully as few countries as possible will believe Russian state media propaganda; such as the "dead girl" incident that the BBC exposed - it only further fuels tension in the area and underpins a future divide. Although western 'intervention' in this form could cause problems too

one of the former satellite states of the Soviet Union is all you need to know. so I should condemn Russian politics as well, right? right. but there's more to history.
our government censors Russian "propaganda" as well, only there's no Russians here, whereas in your country, there's plenty. it's only nationalism that makes your people pro-West, you've been played with for too long and there is no German threat to your sovereignty, but you should check history 'cause those same folks put you where you're at today, not leaving a trace of your once prosperous commonwealth only to further empower their empires, which is what's currently happening, again, only it's the "European way" that charms you into it all. not saying Russia is good for your country, just that in politics, there's never a fundament of a genuine bilateral interest. only hopes for such. no one will suck out your country's venom and spit it triumphantly. definitely not the EU, uh, I mean Germany. only your people can, if they're smart... like the Germans are.

There is no alternative, because Russia cares about its security

By saying "cares about it's security", do you mean literally bombing on civil towns and killing the peaceful citizens living in Eastern Ukraine? :hunty: Bet you haven't heard about the shootings in Mariupol, done by Russian armed forces.

Why not consider different points of view? If Russian soldiers kill people, why Ukrainians are leaving in Russian cities? You are contradicting yourself. :reductive:

Why not consider different points of view? If Russian soldiers kill people, then why residents leave eastern Ukraine in the Russian city? You are contradicting yourself. :reductive:

I can't understand that  Did you mean "...residents leave <...> to the Russian city"?

I do consider different points of views. What's the excuse Putin has for annexating Crimea? And why did Russia have a BUK in East-Ukraine?

I see both sides to be honest. Western media should pay more attention to Ukrainian violations of the armistrice, and also to the ultranationalism in Ukraine. But let's be honest here, Russian media lies and lies and lies about so much. And there's no alternative. It's great that they're trying to bring good, independent Russian news sources to the Baltic countries, so that they can hear what's actually happening in their own language.

It's important for countries not to discriminate the Russian minorities, because this could actually make the situation worse. The Russian minority should be respected, and this will lead to less tension and less seperatism.

In the hostel with me live Ukrainian refugees, they say that the bombing of cities arranged Kiev authorities. I do not think they're lying

Possible. But what's the cause of it all? Russia has the power to stop this war, but they don't. How can they stop this war? Stop supporting the seperatists in East-Ukraine and give back Crimea!

Can you tell me why Russia conquered Crimea?

what kind of a literally bullshiit lmoa. Yeah Russians are saints and germans, are the bad guys. Sure, Jan. Keep your Germanophobia and Westernphobia else way.

Who is interested in imperialism except Russia? Definitely not Germany or another EU country. Lithuania shares our western values and that is good. We can't change the past, but work together as one.

okay there's no bull**** here and if you're trying to make it sound that way by twisting my words, I mean, completely making up stuff... c'mon now

I hate Germanophobia just as much as I hate bad-guy propaganda. You see, in history there's always a bad guy and a lessor evil. By taking the side of the lesser evil, you're not being smart with your political views, because there's no such thing. It's all an abstraction. That's what my comment meant. I've always admired the smart German politics. It's politics. It's a game. But then again, it's no game, right? But since it's a lot like a brain-game someone always gets out-brained. So the smart thing to do is just look for possibilities to crack the code, like Germany has done many times. Taking sides is borderline conformism, given our awareness of how things work.

...and oh boy are you really asking who else is interested in imperialism (except Russia lol)? Because I believe it's common sense that tells you every country or union with a high level of influence is aimed at imperialism constitutionally

to you guys, it all seems like a fairytale. no wonder you think you'll be safe with the good witch...

"I'm not Germanophob, but.... Germany looks to crack the code. "

Yeah absolutely not Germanophob. See Germany and the European Union looking for peace. You can live freely in the European Union, you are a free person unlike in Russia where they persecute when you are Gay. Of course I will support the European Union.

Because: The people of Crimea and Sevastopol voted for annexation by Russia (90%); Crimea - a strategically important object in the Black Sea.

You speak as if Russia - the only country in the world where there is homophobia. Interestingly, all US states gay marriages are allowed? I do not think :reductive: democracy* :creepflop:
