Well it's not really surprising, Kim's popularity is gradually increasing caus she's being gradually introduced around the world, I mean no one new who she was in the UK til like a year or so ago and most are still unsure who she is/what she does, whereas Gagas popularity blow up really early on to the point most people around the world knew who she was by BR, so of course Gagas is gonna be low compared to someone who people are still discovering 

​Not to mention Kim is spammed by the entertainment industry, Gaga is not.

I don't understand why some people feel the need to bash Kim and degrade her by saying that she "only got famous because of her s-x tape." She owns her body and instead of slut shaming her we should applaud a confident woman.

Damn. Gaga was so absurdly popular for such a long period of time. It was like every week there was something new that Gaga did that went viral.

​The labels and E! "news" I guess. 

Most of the top trends are usually people I don't care about. Nothing wrong with them, I just don't find them or their work very interesting or exciting. I want to be entertained, or perplexed, or intrigued. I don't just want another pretty face or hot body following some formula that's been done a hundred times and making the same stuff over and over again. I'm glad they are having success (and it makes them smart to work with what they know will help them to continue being a success), be it clothing, music, films, etc, but I've seen it all a dozen times before and it's boring (to me). With music, I want an artist that takes risks, that pushes themselves and tries to make each era or project unique or special. If it flops or gets huge backlash, at least at the end of the day they can say they tried to craft something custom made, you know, like a freaking artist should.
