We're in 2015 and you're still complaining about fans opinions changing about ARTPOP? Get over it and move on. We're in the cheek to cheek era. No need to dig up old drama from 2013. Who cares anyway? As long as you love ARTPOP thats all that matters. Stop worrying about what other people think about the album because it doesnt matter. Don't worry i'm over it.. And I already thought Aura was the best thing ever. I was a huge fan of Gypsy after the first performance (till this day). When ARTPOP was released, I wasn't ''in love'' with the album at first. Clearly you're young if you feel the need to expose people. You're onviously not over it if you keep getting mad about people not liking the album. I like ARTPOP and for me it never flopped because it went number one and even ifnit didnt i would still like it but if other people dont like it then thats not my issue. LoveandMagic 1,731 Posted April 17, 2015 Share Posted April 17, 2015 I don't think it's fair to judge everyone based on a few ATRL threads Plus the rest of the songs on the album or the changes made to the album versions could've sparked dislike for some people There will always still be the minority who began to dislike it after it didn't smash like they were expecting though, which is unfortunate but thankfully it's just a minority in my opinion Definitely agree. From what I am hearing, the iTunes special concert about the album had versions very different than what was finalized. I can understand the disappointment over that. Personally, ARTPOP took while to really grow on me, though I never hated it. I still think it's the lesser of her discography, but a very good album on it's own, but I have no problems with others liking it the best. Just repeat to yourself, "It's just a show. ARTPOP's relative floppage is a deep frustration, it's like out collective festering wound so I don't see why we can't have threads about it, it's interesting.I wish it had done better because now I hate it too, even though it's my favorite songs.
