"Bosnian soccer fans staged a pro-Palestinian protest that quickly turned anti-Semitic while in Vienna, Austria for a soccer match.

The incident was captured in a video posted on March 31 where the fans-turned-political-activists set up a protest in Vienna's central Stephanplatz square.

At first they stood calmly and shouted "Free Palestine" back and forth. Then, one can hear a single voice among the protestors shout out "Kill the Jews." The calls to violence swelled as the other protestors joined. In a swarm of rage, they began to jump up and down shouting "Ubij, ubij Židove," which means "Kill, kill the Jews."

The enraged protestors were in town for an international friendly soccer match between Austria and Bosnia at the Ernst Happel stadium in Vienna.

Neither Bosnian nor Austrian officials have responded to the incident so far.

Relations between Bosnia and Israel are generally friendly and the country even has a small Jewish community. In May 2014, Israel sent millions of tons of aid to the country when the region experienced record flooding that killed thousands."

False cause being anti-Israel doesn't make you anti-semitic automatically

Being "anti-Israel" is an odd concept; it implies you disagree with the existence of the Israeli state. The idiotic few people in that category need to get a grip on reality that Israel exists and is here to stay.

Being against Israel's continual war crimes and breaches of international law is entirely different.

Against Israel as being against them stealing a country that isn't to them.

Anti-semitic means being against all the Jews :air:

I'm against them stealing a country like that and killing innocent people to keep it to them and calling it legitime defense but I'm not against Jews.

"Kill all the jews" chant is totally ridiculous... Since there were so many jewish people in Istanbul, I had many jewish friends too... They are people like everybody else, they are very different too just like everybody else, just like all other irrational discriminations, anti-semitism approach jewish people like they are members of a uniformized herd .I can't understand the logic between being anti-semitic. Why would anyone hate someone for their existence or beliefs ? This is totally middle-age way of thinking.

But I can't say anything about Israel-Palestine situation, the problem is that there is literally no legit objective resource about the issue. Most of the information I can find about this issue is very one-sided.

I would like to learn about Palestine-Israel conflict, if anyone has quality information about this, please PM me.

In order for something to be stolen, it has to be owned by someone first, right?

There was never a Palestinian state, never. Their existence started the moment Jordan was established as a state and they were left out. When the UN suggested the land of Israel (AKA "Mandatory Palestine", named by the Romans) to be divided between Jews & Arabs they refused and opened a war.

You are against the occupation (me too, by the way). That's the right thing to say. Land "stealing" is just incorrect.

Is this suppose to make Israel a good guy, like look at these ungrateful Bosnians?

First of all Israel sent tons of aid to Serbia, as far as I now, even Bosnia had bigger floods so this "region" is funny. Actually to Serbia and Republic of Srpska, to Jewish community in some small town.

Second of all, I don't think Bosnians forgot Israeli support of Serbs during genocide in Bosnia.

And yeah, hooligans are crap, what else is new?

Oh ok, I wish they would just stop and cut the land in two.

They lived there in majority for 14 centuries at least, generations had their houses and their farms. So yes, it is stolen. Their homes were demolished and hundreds of thousands were expelled. That is stealing, moving in from Europe and taking over the land is stealing.

Today Palestinians are no different from Jordan's population. They were never different, they both share the same ethnic origin. The Palestinian national movement started after Israel & Jordan were founded. Your argument is false & unnecessary. Both people live here now and they'll have to find a way to live together. But no one owned the land, neither Jews or Arabs. It's important we stick to facts.
