Would you prefer LG5 to have a) a great metacritic score (75+)  and mediocre sales (1,5-2,5m) or b) a mediocre metacritic score (60-70) but really good sales (4m+)?

*Obviously both are important but you have to choose the most important!

neither, i'd prefer fans to shut the **** up & just appreciate her talent for once instead of craving bragging rights

Why can't it be both? I mean, Born This Way was both successful and had a good score

At this point in time, commercial success is way more important.

I think that both, critical acclaim and good sales are important and I really hope that Gaga can achieve both with her next Album :)

Critical acclaim is subjective, sales are objective (even though they're influenced by people's subjective opinion :fan:). I'll go for sales.

I think you are talking about The Fame Monster here! 78% Metacritic score + 8.1 million WW sales!

Critical acclaim. I'd rather have people talking positively about her than people talk **** about her with huge sales.

Why not both?  Critical acclaim is probably better.  I mean someone like Gaga should be considering well produced music rather than the sales.  However, both can coincide within each other depending on how you look at like.  It's very subjective to the viewer.
