Yea but you can NOT say that she has been huge since 2007..She became big in 2008-9

No she has been huge since her debut.

Tim McGraw and Our Song are very popular widely known songs, among others from her debut. Her debut has sold over five million albums and stayed in the Billboard 200 for over 5 years. Just because you didn't know/care about her doesn't mean she wasn't big. Just because she was primarily still viewed as a country artist then doesn't mean she wasn't big.

Love Story and You Belong WIth Me were already smash hits before Kanye, she was already hugely popular before 2008.

But oh well, looks like she is trying to fix things this time arround, because she hasn't talked about Gaga during interviews. I'd really like if she made a real statement and stop playing with ambiguity.

If she did that she would be attacked again; accused of trying to gather more RH sales/tickets

OP comparing EY/BTW to Gimme Gimme Gimme/Hung Up is flawed logic though :koons:

Lol Tim McGraw and Our Song are both NOT very popular songs..They charted but they weren't even hits lol... Her debut album sold a lot because her next albums were huge so the new fans were buying the first album too.. It's totally delusional to say that she was huge back then because she wasn't even big... And yeah I said that before -_- She became really popular in 2008-2009

She was a country artist before she was a pop artist.
The country scene actually knows those songs.

And I know the rest of the world think it doesn't matter, but Country is huge in the US and that makes it one of the largest genres in the world.

Lol Country is not even really big :lolly: It's rare for a country song to become a hit.. (Taylor Swift wasn't even really country with You Belong With Me and Lovestory..It has a pop structure.)

You're just talking out of your ass.

"Country is not even really big" is a false statement any way you slice it.

"No, i don't think she's copying me, cause she's she and i'm me" - in the same interview.

"I actually like her, i think she's very talented" - Graham.

About the mash up, it was meant to be comedic, not an attack. Maybe if Gaga was an actual Madonna fan like she always stated she would have picked up on her unique sense of humor, Madonna was always like this.

Back in the 80s when she was accused of copying MJ, she did the exact same thing. its a commentary on the media presented in a humoristic manner, its irony, its artistic expression.

But of course, according to Gaga daily logic, a woman who devoted a big porrtion of her life as an equal rights activist before it was hip and popular to do so, a woman who helps building education in economically weak countries is evil because she didn't sugar coat her opinion on a specific situation that happened to involve your precious mommy fave.

I generally agree with what you said, but I cannot fully agree on the part that the mashup wasn't meant to be an attack. Remember what was shown on the screens during that part ? Blond ponytails and conebras being put inside the "I've got an idea - light bulb" cans, and those cans being eaten by an actual little monster creature... that's rather a really harsh comedy and to me it actually said "you DID copied me, I noticed"...

THIS THIS THIS... THIS.
