Hence there are thousands of stories/explanations/excuses about the origin of "Zwarte Piet". This one I haven't heard about yet though. If Zwarte Piet was such a positive figure, there would be no black people protesting about it, and there are plenty every year.

​That is very amazing that you wanna throw your degree and all in here but as far as I am aware you are not from the NL and the spreaking broken Dutch and acting like a clown are just pulled out of your ass. That was applicable in the 80s but even Zwarte Piet evolved.
