Harry 26,836
All those millionaires being together to ask for more money... And they ask people like us, who don't even get in a month what they earn in a day thanks to streaming.I hope that sh*t is going to flop and all those cupid people are going to lose huge money in it. Well I hope you're happy when all these huge artists pass on and all the careers of the newer ones die out before they even start because music will no longer be a profitable profession.Stop being so transparent. It's not just about Beyonce, Jay Z etc. Maybe they are doing it for their own benefit, and if they are then power to them. That won't change our lives. It's about respect for artists in general. jojuun 4,159
So to sum it up they want more money then the millions and millions of dollars they already have. They should be grateful they have as much money as they have. While the rest of the 98% of world is barely able to pay their bills and put food on their tables. The idea. The product seems interesting and cool. But it's all just a sham for them to get more money they think they deserve All those millionaires being together to ask for more money... And they ask people like us, who don't even get in a month what they earn in a day thanks to streaming.I hope that sh*t is going to flop and all those cupid people are going to lose huge money in it. Most of you are so stuck with the idea that this whole Tidal thing is about a few billionaire artists making more money, and it isn't. Look at the whole industry, the decline in sales, money and quality of music. They aren't just looking out for themselves but fixing a mistake mistake Spotify made with percentage deals which affects the whole industry. For the consumer Spotify is a great deal. But artists don't get a fair cut. Hence, Tidal. More creative control, and the profit to the right people. And both of you probably make a lot more money than the poorest person living on your street. jojuun 4,159
The 9.99$ option offers 96kps quality. WTF are they thinking? No it doesn't, if you use the free 30-sec preview on their webplayer you get 96kbps quality.
Darcklighter22 2,358
You get standard HQ sound quality, 320kbps, unlimited high definition music videos, expertly curated editorial content and extra's (see OP) and you can try out the HiFi (FLAC, Lossless) service. The OP didn't mention the quality of the standard sub tho. The 9.99$ option offers 96kps quality. WTF are they thinking? seriously just that quality ? I would want to support it but if for the same price spotify has 320kps

And Billboard will be taking Tidal streams into account.BYE

jojuun 4,159
oh look, another great advance! Could easily be edited or manipulated first of all, and secondly, it's very possible, since it's HiFi quality music.
Spock 20,292
The original "executive artists", as they call them, have financial interest and own 3% of shares of Tidal each.
