The taxi fares can be outrages so why not have a service priced between taxi and public transit rates. It is gaining wide acceptance. Mars..........or bust! RAMROD 116,997 Posted March 25, 2015 Share Posted March 25, 2015 I use Uber when I travel.I don't need it at home cos in LA, pretty much everyone need their own car to go around, except when going to airport, so I don't have to park car in airport and keep it there until I return.They are nice and price are competitive, or even cheaper cos there are no added surcharge, glat rates all the way.And so effecient cos we don't have to pay it cash.There are at least a couple selections too, Uber X for cheaper ones with common cars like Honda and stuffs, and UberEXEC for VIP ones with luxury cars like Mercedes Benz or BMW.I used them in SG, HK, JKT, and Tokyo so far.Pleased so far.
