The song is mediocre and that bridge is laughable. I find it amazing that she's been on the scene for years and we've yet to see any artistic growth, lol. I had to do a double take when I saw the music video screencap of Taylor seemingly positioned between the legs of lots of women who appeared to be twerking. But no, it wasn't an ambiguous mid-action shot, it was actually what it looked like. Everything else that followed on, I can only say in points. The song is a new level of awful. The video is one of the cringiest things I've ever seen. Her album title is yet another boring, generic title that's a rip off of other album titles (seriously, people, there's nothing cool and original about naming an album after the year you were born). The cover art is so hipster-esque and reminiscent of ARTPOP's singles layouts. And 9 out of the 16 tracks involve Max Martin and Shellback, which needs to explanation. Oh, yeah, and she's almost 25 and she's still acting as immature as ever. I've never been a fan of her. In fact, I've always taken a strong dislike to her. But this? I didn't even think she would stoop to this level. This is the definition of selling out. This is the definition of selling your soul to the devil. Whenever anyone accuses an artist of changing for success, I'll point them to Taylor's 2014 release to remind them that no matter how hard you think someone's sold out, there will always be someone who's sold out even harder.
