Jenniferella 2,774
When the tour smashes, haters will seethe for sure. But then you won't hear from them. Look at this rundown of Madonna haters just in this thread. They will all be quiet when the tour breaks records - her own records. I wouldn't put too much hope in this. Of course we will read their pressed posts probably talking about the fact that the price of the tickets are beyond madness and will eventually try to minimize her power. Oh well, it's gonna be a lot of fun just to watch them. "I have been writing LG5 since I was 13"
badboymonsterx 521
When the tour smashes, haters will seethe for sure. But then you won't hear from them. Look at this rundown of Madonna haters just in this thread. They will all be quiet when the tour breaks records - her own records. The interesting thing is that when Madonna stans and other fanbases come after Gaga for not selling as she used to, or failing to achieve like before, they will play the victims, like they are not feeding into this continuous cycle of petty competitiveness. I honestly feel sorry for people who can't be respectful of someone like Madonna, who achieved so much in her career, who broke boundaries for female artists, who paved the way for so many who came after her and followed her footsteps. She is Madonna and she will always be the Queen of Pop. She may not have radio play because she is 57, she may not have another radio hit, but if you google her, all the media outlets call her the 'Queen of Pop', 'hitmaker Madonna', simply because she is for everything she achieved, and that, haters can't change as much as they want. honestly i don't even hate her. i can't respect someone with her kind of attitude though.. let's get real.. madonna is a b---h lol. like she always has been. i wanna know what her "plan" is or hmm idk maybe she just said that to stir up the media prior to her album release?? i saw her MDNA tour and the BTW/Expressyourself mashup mess was extremely immature.. she really escalated the silly thing and was horrible to gaga. she loves the drama. she's a bully, and a bully who has the amount of influence she has and who people look up to is never going to gain my respect. and yes age plays a part her too because she's old enough to be more classy about handling a situation that happened. that being said, i'm seriously over it and i hope they do squash whatever it is they have, just so that it's in the past and left there. QueenGadonna 298
Really? The majority posting here are Medonsters. It's nothing like Katy or Iggy gets. You must be blind. The attitude of the Madonna stans on this site is what has feed this stan war. And I agree with you, their competitiveness and general negativity towards Gaga have been nothing but petty. The cycle starts when they set the tone. You know whats worst? Gaga fans acting like they are saints. They can be mean...like VERY mean. ANYWAY, the sad thing is both Madonna & Gaga fans still fight even when Madonna & Gaga don't hate each other anymore. Move on people.

These are two different things: one is respecting her for her achievements and for shaping pop stardom and pop music for what it is today; the other is disliking her because of a particular attitude. One thing doesn't prevent the other.Secondly, the old=classy argument is crap and doesn't hold any truth to me. I want her to be who she is even with 60, 70 or 80.Yes, she is a b---h, and that is one of the reasons why I love her. Her attitude of not giving a ****, not being affected by what people think of her is very empowering.

That's more empowerment than thousands of words about empowerment spilled and then taken away by the air when you let what people think of you affect you. I don't care if her tour is successfull or not. I'm not a type of person who chooses bands or artists to stan for because of their sales, charts positions or profitable tours. Its pathetic. My favourite bands are not popular, they don't have a lot views on Youtube. But I value them for different reasons, for their talent. And Madonna... Yeah, she should be respected for what she achieved and thats it. I'm just so over her about making excuses, shading other artists who took her spotlight and that ageism bull****. Nothing about her attracts or excites me. But there are things that I don't like about her because of the words she said or actions she took. I'm the happiest person on this planet too see how artists with more talent, vocal capabilities are getting more and more recognition and reducing choices for this queen to stay popular - showing her nipples or ass. Very talented. And for the record, you can call me hater or whatever you want. I just don't care. I have artists and bands that I like. I'm happy to live in the age with artists like Gaga, Placebo or The National. Because there is something more about them. My individual priorities and choices for me are more than your charts and sales. Have fun with math.
Whispering 18,865
Given away? Erm... $200 isn't giving anything away, no matter how they decide to package it.They are giving away the albums with a ticket purchase. The ticket buyer didn't have the option to purchase the CD or to save money by passing the offer up.If Gaga, or any other artist, gave a free download of a "super deluxe version" of their album with tour tickets, then they would have padded their sales numbers with free albums.
