EU head to create one European Army

​I don't think a world war would happen then. It would be more a sign to other countries like "Don't fück with us" 

What happening in Ukraine can next maybe happen in a EU-state like Lithuania or Estonia, but with an united European army I'm sure Russia will think twice. 

Putin is incredibly smart. He won't intervene in a NATO member state. What he could do is destabilize a country with a huge Russian population by supporting them to become seperatists and fight.

 

Why is this any different to NATO* though; other than different countries being a part of it?

There's a big difference. The NATO consists iut of many countries which all have the choice to do things. A united European defense system would mean that the EU would be like one country (for defense only). This would save a lot of money, be a step towards a federal Europe (the ultimate goal imo) and would make Europe strong as a whole. Also, some countries that underspend and some countries that overspend can be balanced.

That's so creepy. I think China and Russia would team up in that case, too. Maybe America would be against them as well. I don't think there should be countries like Croatia, Romania or Germany influencing such an army either.

It won't happen though, what a pipe dream
