I think that Shake it off is a lot better (even tho it's rediculously repetitive in the end) because it has a smart meaning and the melody is actually amazing and memorable.. This song might sound less "cheap" but it's definitely generic.It doesn't need to be a pop song to be generic.The melody is really NOTHING and the lyrics are ok.
