Uninformed Rob Fusari Accusations

True, we really don't have a statement with her outright naming him as the assailant but I suspect that's because it would be grounds for a slander and libel lawsuit.

And to be fair it really isn't our issue to discuss, she told us it happened. I believe her. Isn't that enough? She told us what we speculated about for years.

Adoremus in caelum, Palutena. Dea luminis.

WhFrom the Howard Stern interview:

LG: Of all the men that I have worked with he [Tony] never has done nothing in the studio. It wasn’t even in the cards.…

H: Are you saying that most men in the studio do something inappropriate?

LG: Yes, with the exception of Red One. He was the first one who didn’t. And that was why that album was successful. I was able to write some music that wasn’t made while I had the fear of God in me pulling my skirt down in the studio because men were shoving their hands up my dress.

H: Are you serious? Its that bad? I know men are perverted but-

LG: Not only was it bad but its still bad now.

H: Its still going on even at your level of fame?

LG: Well, not just for me. Think about all those young girls who are 16 in New York or 19 going, “ow I met this record producer quote on quote. He is going to make me a star. He said he worked with Beyonce or whatever†And then you know, they didn’t really work with Beyonce. It was all a big lie.

H: Why not call them all out? Why not name names and say this is a bad guy, that is a bad guy? Why do we let these guys get away with it?

LG: *sigh. You know.

H: Why do we?

LG: I don’t really. I mean, ive talked a lot about it and if you do the math and look through the history of who I have worked with it doesn’t take a lot of rocket science to figure it out. Why do we? I think the music industry puts too much in the hands of record producers right now and not enough in the hands of the artist…

When Gaga says, "ive talked a lot about it and if you do the math and look through the history of who I have worked with it doesn’t take a lot of rocket science to figure it out" she is not talking about the person who raped her. The conversation was not on the topic of rape at that point in the interview. They were literally talking about record producers being inappropriate and touching. This could have included rape but she didn't specifically say that. Gaga didn't confess to being raped until later on in the interview. This quote plus the age range and time frame seems to be the only "evidence" of who the guy is, which Fusari happens to fit.

I apologize that some people are offended by this thread but It truly bothers me that there seems to be this unanimous agreement that Rob Fusari is the rapist. We don't have the information necessary to make that kind of assumption. And I really don't appreciate that some of you think im "slow" or "not using logic" or "ignoring the clear evidence" just because Im not as quick as you are to jump to conclusions.

It's quite obvious that it's him-Roberto.
I wonder how would Gaga feel if she saw this thread.I don't think there's something more to be discussed.

I'm sorry people have been so callous towards you instead of disagreeing in a polite way.

But Howard asked "why do we let these people get away with it" so they were still talking about the identity of the person. Plus the underlined part of what I quoted sort of reaffirms that she is talking about a person, not a rape within itself.

It doesn't really matter who it was... SHE knows who it was and she can deal with it however she wants. She didn't even want the world to know that this had happened (she hinted at the Itunes Festival with Swine that she has had "unfortunate s-xual experiences" (quote from Ellen) but never really said it outright). She was cornered by Howard Stern and was basically forced to tell the world about her personal trauma. Poor girl!!!

I'm glad she was strong enough to talk about it though as rape is a topic that needs to be discussed more and not ignored (along with suicide). She is a vehicle and will voice opinions and experiences, unfortunately based on her own (Till It Happens to You) as she sees fit.

Who it was however is her personal business. There is not a lot we can do as Little Monsters anyway if we did find out who it was. Besides, pointing the finger at someone because "a timeline adds up" is pretty poor evidence to claim that someone is a rapist. Piece together something only using cold hard facts before accusing someone of committing something this demeaning and disgusting. There is nothing we can do. It's Gaga's business. We know it happened and we just need to support her, that's it.

This thread is pointless and kinda harsh imo. I feel sick from this topic...

You say rape should be discussed more and not ignored. I agree and I don't think the topic of rape should be taboo to discuss on this site as long as we are respectful. Then you say this thread is pointless and harsh and makes you feel sick. I made this thread because I don't think its fair that Rob has been the target of rape accusations when we clearly don't have all the facts. Its not about guessing who the rapist is. Its not about victim blaming. Its not about disrespecting Gaga and saying she is lying about what happened to her. I fail to see why this thread is pointless and harsh.

I'm all for innocent until proven guilty but you didn't even reply to my last comment. I feel like either it was Fusari or she wants us to believe it's Fusari. (Obviously though I'm not saying it as a definitive fact but you can't deny that she is building us up to believe it is him).

It's not pointless, someone violated her body when she was in a vulnerable stage. However, we are sick of people pointing fingers at one of her best producers, they were in love at one point... people just love to throw aside the big facts that debunk the little 'facts' that allude to him.

We don't have enough information to say either way.

Nonetheless, the way Gaga completely ignores him makes it seem like their relationship did not end well.

I believe this forum should not give any attention to Rob Fusari

1: he has been double-sided towards her Recently, as lego proved with quotes from two recent interviews, with the favorable one being to (oh coincidence) a moderator of this forum.

2: Aside of people's personal feeling if he is/isn't guilty (feelings that are not relevant to the discussion, you can't say he isn't a raper just because he can't be), Fusari fits on Gaga`s hints on the person who took advantage of her when she was young, and repeatedly. He fits in many aspects and dates add up. So that is enough reason for him to be a suspect. So i will stand by my opinion that I would rather not have discussions on a Gaga forum about information or interviews provided by a suspect of raping Gaga. However I agree with OP in one thing: fact is Rob is a suspect, not Rob is guilty. People inmediatly jumping to him to say "dont want him around because he raped her" are assuming something without enough information to say something that harsh. That is wrong.

3. this is Gaga's personal business, she feels hurt by this, it is trauma. She acted like victims would: allow it to happen for long, stayed silent for years. It is not our issue to discuss and hunt the man, because we know what he caused and that is enough. It isn't right to say she should have done this and that at the time, because we are not her. We are not affected like her. I understand you made this thread angered at people saying its him, but it is not alright for a victim to have people around discussing the details and implications of her rape, years after.

Hello, it's me

Um this is not the reason why it is pointless... Again, it's because it's her business not ours. I completely 100% agree with the phrase "innocent until proven guilty" like Jed pointed out. However it is not our place as fans to prove anything or point finger AT ALL to ANYONE and accuse them of rape, which a few posts in this thread have lead to.
