BloodyM 1,271
I thought that i would hate this album, i was wrong. Lana you win, this is quality music! Well done!!
Antidote 95
I don't think we are able to compare them now. Let's wait at least some months. BTD and Paradise are amazing and I still listen to them and her unreleased tracks everyday, so let's wait and see if UV will have the same longevity. I love Lana's songs the most when they have that epic and cinematic sound with violins and piano, like they're taken right out of a movie. I can't decide yet if UV can keep up with it, of course I think so but I can't decide I mean we just got it today
scrappy 302
BTD (deluxe) is a Perfect album, I was not a lana stan until i heard that album. Its one of those few "debut" albums that has NO bad tracks in my mind I honestly can't say that about the Fame Ultraviolence is musically more mature though, and more personal and beautiful, where as BTD just plays to my fancies (like trip-hop beats, Pop choruses and swag with an angelic meets soulful voice ) so i think im going to like it more, as ive played BTD to death in the last year and some of the songs do not have as much longevity (like Blue Jeans :P sry not sry) Diet Mountain Dew, Lolita? ItsTommyBitch 12,640
Diet Mountain Dew, Lolita? What? Lolita is my 2nd to least fav, but its still a good track. I like her cute tone a lot more than her soulful deep one, so tracks like that shine. Diet Mountain Dew is repetitive AF, but its a highlight. The piano instrumental is amazing and compliments the song so well. Chorus is sleazily addictive as well. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから

Pop 4,541
Boring. I used to stan for her during Born To Die, but she progressively got more boring and pretentious. OVER HER! The Taylor Brigade: KNOCKOUT

ItsTommyBitch 12,640
I like the demos but the album versions suck imo + I really hate that DMD is right after Video Games. I'm in different to the demo of DMD, it sounds more complete with better verses/lyrics, but its missing the piano that makes it so memorable to me. This is what makes us girls has the best Demos and one of them is SO much better than the Album ver. I agree its a weird transition though. 私自身もこの世の中も誰もかれもが, どんなに華やかな人生でも, どんなに悲惨な人生でも, いつかは変貌し, 破壊され、消滅してしまう. すべてがもともとこの世に存在しない一瞬の幻想なのだから
