You Can Be The Boss (and it's video) gives me Ultraviolence feels tbh

She kept that on her personal Youtube for a while into the BTD promo didn't she. And she performed it live on French TV while promoting BTD. Jusssayin

It was intended for BTD, but didn't make the final cut so I wouldn't expect her to use it again

Tired of Singing The Blues tho <3

She has a history of re-using songs and lyrical motifs, and YCBTB certainly could tie into an album title Ultraviolence imo

Cheesier than a Jesus impersonator saying "thou shalt not sin" or w/e he says in the video? The John Wayne character is as ingrained in American Pop Culture as Marilyn or anyone like that.

I don't know it just rubbed me the wrong way personally. It really stuck out imo. Not saying it was all bad or ruined the whole thing, I just don't think it fit with the rest of it.

I hope she does something different then the usual slow stuff.

I love it, i just want more of a variety.

This all the way! I know she can do different stuff so lets pray she does

IMO Black beauty and Angels Forever will not be on the album (at least not in the BTD-style versions we have) cuz;

"It's a little bit different, but I hope you like it" - Lana Del Rey on her new album Ultraviolence

Tim Larcombe (producer of 'Off to the Races', 'Gods and Monsters' and 'This Is What Makes Us Girls' has worked on ULTRAVIOLENCE!

She talks about this [film] being the bookend to this character, I think [she means] it’s the bookend to the character she’s been playing since she stepped into the spotlight. I don’t know about the new project, but I assume it’ll be the next chapter.

She's not releasing Born To Die Part 3, it's important that you get your head around that

For those of you who like Lana...

Mute Tropico and hit play. The second the video hits 2:45, start playing the Tumblr track, Go-Go Dancer. They sync up so well!

Go Go Dancer is a great song. She should do a compilation of unreleased tracks or a mixtape. She has so many great ones that will never make it to an album.
