Lana said in a few interviews around the first half of 2012 that she wasn't sure what she'd write about after Born To Die, she felt like she'd said everything. But then came Paradise, and I think she found a new way of working and writing post-BTD :) She's mentioned working on the next album a few times now, and specifically mentioned Black Beauty.
