Well im nit surprised so whatever. I already know hes too idiotic and illogical to think about the big picture. Plus he doesnt wanna ruin his immage of a President thats fighting global warming

Only this backfires cause transporting by rail is worse, and even if u could stop Canadas oil sands, it will only be replaced by some Country overseas with bad environmental standards (Canada at least regulates)... And many Countries like Venezuela have really toxic oils also.

Did i mention it will be carried across Oceans which has its own risks?

Looks more like political tit for tat to me. The pubs don't like the Affordable Health Care act and are trying to repeal it. Obama has intimated that he is in favor of a pipeling from Canada in the past. Unless there are elements in the bill he opposes and hasn't released that to the press yet. I wanna see how this developes. There might be certain things that the Dem's want as bargaining chips before they let this thru.
