the prominent Turkish actor and model Kıvanç TatlıtuÄŸ will take part in the third season of the Irish-Canadian co-production TV series "Vikings" in its two episodes as a guest actor, Turkish media outlets said on Tuesday. TatlıtuÄŸ is expected to go to the U.S. for the series' shootings in the next couple of months.

Tatlıtuğ is allegedly conducting various meetings with the show's producers for his character to continue. There is as yet no information obtained as to what his role will be about. Tatlıtuğ is also planning to study acting in the U.S. while improving his English, media outlets claim.

With his blue eyes, romantic gesture, and blond hair, not only has TatlıtuÄŸ captured the hearts of Turkish women, but also has become quite a phenomena in the Arab World thanks to his role in the Turkish TV soap opera "Noor" (originally titled GümüÅŸ in Turkish).

Tatlıtuğ, who became famous after winning the Best Model of the World contest in 2002, even succeeded in boosting Turkey's tourism industry during the time the soap opera was aired in the Arab World.

The series "Noor" was aired by Saudi-owned MBC satellite television and attracted nearly 85 million viewers across the Arab world, a record for Arab TV. It focused on the relationship between Mehmet --whose name in the Arabic version is Mohannad-- and his wife Noor.
