Chic 20,830
Yeh, Diane Warren, not Gaga Why does it need to be Gaga's thoughts? Diane was 50% of the song's conception and the sole songwriter, Gaga was the singer and possibly instrumentalist. It's a ballad. Diane has also worked with tons more artists and has been around much longer than Gaga and obviously has a great ear for melodies and music, so for her to praise the song acts to nearly validate it already. Gaga didn't hype ARTPOP's primary announcement, DJWS did, and look at how great that night was. A lot of things Gaga never personally hyped ended up being great moments in her career. Whispering 18,865
It'll be quite an interesting and informative documentary, I mainly want the song to be great and released on iTunes so that the proceeds can be donated to rape victim charities. I'm not sure that Raising money is one of the main goals here. Awareness is the main objective. There is a vast amount of bad information and toxic attitudes concerning this terrible epidemic on college campuses. It really and truly can happen to anyone, and it can ruin lives, before these young men and women ever even get started on their adult lives. If all parties involved decide that raising money is important, along with awareness, I'm sure they could all agree to release it to iTunes or some other service. It funds programs that could save people's lives in schools and just anywhere, really. But if promotion to the importance of awareness is really the goal then that should be followed. Of course, but I simply don't know what the monetary goals were with this documentary and where the directors are at with their desire to raise money in that way. I'm just happy that this documentary was made about something that is basically ignored by college administrations, even though it is a crime that is happening to 25 per cent of their students.
