Tbh he sounds so dumb... :toofunny: He shouts all these big words that he can't even put in to proper sentences. And I love Beyonce, but some people should stop acting like she's the most talented person in the world. :flop:

Anyway, I love how everyone is focused on that, when the only thing that I care about is that Chandelier should've gotten either Record or Song of The Year. Sorry but Sam Smith's Stay With Me got old to me very quick and I've only listened to that song like 5 times. I understand why it won so many Grammys, but both Record and Song of the Year ? CHANDELIER deserved at least one Grammy. And talking about that, ARTPOP and 1000 Forms of Fear should've been nominated for Pop Vocal Album instead of Prism and Bangerz, but whatevs.

All of this! :trootea:

The many blacks who have won album of the year based on their talent would probably disagree with this.

I'm sure the Gramy committe was tossing a coin to decide between Ed and Beck since the other acts were rither black or gay :toofunny:

Do you want to calm down? I think you should calm down.

Only three black people have won AOTY in the last 20 years though, and only one in the last 10 years. It's not a secret at all that black music is snubbed by The Grammys, it's not like I'm saying anything controversial  :rip: It's just a fact that if a black artist is up against a white artist they have an extremely low chance of winning, regardless of musical quality or impact.

This is so offensive, Beyoncè is not the only artist in the world and she's not the second coming, Beck is an amazing singer and composer, a real artist, and his album was flawless;

Beyoncè is a great singer but nothing else, sorry.

I love kanye's music but he's so annoying.

My. Literal. Exact. Thoughts.

Chandelier is the greatest pop song I've heard in ages and it's lyrics STOMP ALL OVER SOMETHING like All About That Bass. And 1000 Forms and Fear AND ARTPOP both have so many different colors, tones and writing styles that it's a SIN to not have nominated them.I honestly would've been pleased with either one winning because they're GENIUS.

stay With Me is really boring now. The fact that Sam won so many Grammy's is insulting and predictable. It's as if you only have to follow the Beyonce/Adele formula and you have a Grammy in the bag. MessT.

I am so happy that beyonce didn't win.

And I love and own her album.

But no. There's no need to praise her THAT much, a person who doesn't write her music, has zero innovation to make performances, and the list goes on and on.

You know what I call an injustice? What they did to SIA.

To be fair, blacks never win general category Grammys, and Bey had not only one of the most popular and culturally relevant albums but also one of the most acclaimed. The Grammys are voted upon by old white men, so I understand the frustration. Bey and Kanye have each won 20 Grammys but they've never won in the general fields.

Album of the Year:

2008 - Herbie Hancock

2005 - Ray Charles

2004 - Outkast

2000 - Santana

etc

Song of the Year:

2010 - Beyoncé

2004 - Luther Vandross

2002 - Alicia Keys

2000 - Santana

etc

Record of the Year:

2005 - Ray Charles

2000 - Santana

1996 - Seal

1994 - Whitney Houston

etc

BNA:

2011 - Esperanza Spalding

2006 - John Legend

2002 - Alicia Keys

1999 - Lauryn Hill

etc

Stop bringing up the race, it's just dumb at this point

Bey rather is in the comitee

You mean father? He isn't anymore and even if he was, there are 13,000 voting members. His one vote didn't win those 20 Grammys for Beyoncé.

'Musical artistry' is not the argument you present when trying to debate Beyoncé vs. Beck.

Kanye is an idiot and so full of himself.
