Regardless the fact that for once Beyoncé really deserved to win this cathegory in my opinion, Kanye and Beyoncé's team need to take big shower of HUMILITY.

Just hear to say that I never liked Kanye, not for one second.  Flare ups like this make me feel all warm inside.

beyonce is an overrated mess. both the album and the artist. she has a nice voice. thats basically it. the amount of times she's gotten sued for stealing instrumentals or lyrics. she takes credit in writing songs she doesn't write. she has 18324938 people write her songs for her but then she wants to take writing credit as well.

And don't any one dare try and come at me w Rihanna shade b/c idc and I'm well aware Rih doesn't write basically anything she puts out.

beyonce isn't that great. and the sooner y'all realize this the better. she's honestly just a great performer and singer but theres not much else to her to be truly honest. she's not even that great of a dancer.

To be fair, blacks never win general category Grammys, and Bey had not only one of the most popular and culturally relevant albums but also one of the most acclaimed. The Grammys are voted upon by old white men, so I understand the frustration. Bey and Kanye have each won 20 Grammys but they've never won in the general fields.

The many blacks who have won album of the year based on their talent would probably disagree with this.

I'm sure the Gramy committe was tossing a coin to decide between Ed and Beck since the other acts were rither black or gay :toofunny:

Do you want to calm down? I think you should calm down.

I love how people talk about Beyoncé here like it deserved the award when she has like tons already over an actual talented person. I love that every once in a while, the Grammys give the award to someone not just for popularity, but because it deserves it.

Anyway, I love how everyone is focused on that, when the only thing that I care about is that Chandelier should've gotten either Record or Song of The Year. Sorry but Sam Smith's Stay With Me got old to me very quick and I've only listened to that song like 5 times. I understand why it won so many Grammys, but both Record and Song of the Year ? CHANDELIER deserved at least one Grammy. And talking about that, ARTPOP and 1000 Forms of Fear should've been nominated for Pop Vocal Album instead of Prism and Bangerz, but whatevs.

At first I thought he was joking but now he is serious :rip:

Oh, Kanye. I still think the entire situation is hilarious.

What artistry is he speaking about ? Beck is a multinstrumentalists who has writtern 12 universally acclaimed albums on his own. Beyonce and her stolen writing credits dont come even close.

And the fact that they don't televise any rap categories even though it's the most culturally relevant genre in the US and the rap awards are always the most talked about after the big 4. Their priorities are misplaced and it doesn't reflect today's music culture accurately.

Rap was bigger 10 years ago, and much of the cultural discussion it generates is racial controversy rather than just about the music. I think blacks need to diversify their musical output, put fewer eggs in the rap basket, if they want to dominate awards and sales like they did in the past.

Were is the new Stevie Wonder, MJ, and Prince?

I would love to see a male as talented and bold as prince in this day. I feel like prince really did start a movement with his fashion and musical talents too bad he has no one to pass the baton to.

But she a good singer/performer

Name a popular artist who can have so much energy on stage and still manage too sing live without missing a note ?

i acknowledged that she is a good singer/performer. but thats all there is to her. she's definitely not a goddess or a queen. she's pretty generic.
