The Grammys are voted upon by old white men, so I understand the frustration. Bey and Kanye have each won 20 Grammys but they've never won in the general fields. End of story Well it's subjective of course, any album that wins AOTY will have it's detractors. But objectively it was the most acclaimed and relevant album nominated. As for Beck he's like 15-20 years past his prime so this seemed like more of a lifetime achievement award from old voters that grew up on his great 90's work, his album was one of his weakest.
