is she UK's Queen of Pop? I thought it was Rita Ora. :troll:

Jk. Congrats to Ellie! :applause: I hope she makes songs like this and drop the EDM crap that made her a bit generic.

If only Heavy Crown was released as a single.

I'm still holding out hope for a Heavy Crown release, maybe when Ellie starts hyping this year's LP?  :excited2:

Iggy sent out a tweet at some point saying it couldn't be a single because it wasn't formatted right for a certain type of radio airplay and she didn't want to lose the airplay

RIP Heavy Crown  Sidenote, it's quite odd that songs have to be 'formatted' for radio. Does that just mean that Heavy Crown doesn't have a radio sound or structure?

I'm not quite sure how that works, but I think it has to do with the overall sound of the song. It would be hard to get pop radio stations to play it because it is too rap-orientated, and rhythmic radio stations wouldn't play it because it is too electronic-oriented. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's how it works.

Ah that would make sense! So one could say Heavy Crown transcends too many boundaries to fit on conventional radio... At least it can slay in that way  :legend:
